Ethan is doing super well in school. He loves it and loves playing with friends. He stays tuesdays from 9am until about 2:30pm and he loves bringing his lunch box and the extra recess time. As soon, as he is done, we go and wait in line for big brother to exit his school. On Thursdays, he stays until about 11:30am and gets so bummed that he doesn't bring his lunch, but he's happy to see me. Ms B says he's way ahead of letters and numbers and even shapes. NO surprise there....he's a nerd. But I am happy he enjoys doing other things, like listening to books and having to do crafts. I just don't have patience for crafts....I loathe cleaning up paint and play doh from my floor and the carpet. I may do it...like twice a year.

He has memorized almost all his US states and is starting to throw words around like "cube" and "cylinder", "diamond", "octagon", "pyramid" ....I'm not really sure where he learned those from (team umizoomi? youtube?).

He's obsessed with paw patrol, and loves playing with his figurines. He loves puzzles of any sort...he will sit there until they are all done, which helps me a bunch. He's my quiet one. Still naps about two hours, and plays well alone...or with older brother. Although, recently, he's hit the 2 yr mark pretty hard- everything is NO and everything turns into a fight with Dom. I have to be with them at all times, otherwise, Ethan just gets hit all the time (keep in mind, he does deserve it, but is still mean none the less). If I stay with them, nothing bad happens....which means, my mom duties and chores are never done until past when kids go to bed. But...that's what keeps me sane, and keeps my kids out of time out.

Recently, we've been going to the library more, to get more books for Dom to read. SO, Ethan has become enamored with the library tablets...they have such amazing apps. And he loves to play with the toys in the toy area too. They have story time there, but it's always at a bad time...but someday...kid...someday. They're so fun. It's a first come first serve basis (only about 30 kids allowed) and they have amazing toys in those rooms and the kids can play with them for the first 15min of class. It's great.
He's still my better eater, but becoming picky recently. He shuns high fructose corn syrup, but still loves sweets- mostly fruit. He loves bananas and cuties (mandarins). He can eat 4 of each every day, if I let him (and sometimes I do...just to keep him quiet). He even peels all of them all by himself. He loves pizza and says he likes chick fil a...but hardly eats when we eat out...he's a homebody in all senses of the word. he loves to be outside and just sit at the bottom of the slide and stare into the clouds....or the grass, and see what's moving there.

He's my little pet. He loves to cuddle with me, and he randomly comes up to kiss me and says "thank you", "oh sorry", and "please" without me having to remind him. He's just so polite. Always smiling and making my day better, even when he is being a butt.
